On the third night at Mohonk Heidi thinks that Billy is getting slim. She insists that he weigh himself when they get home. It was strange for Billy to be losing weight because he has tried diets and physical-fitness programs and none have worked. While Billy is sleeping he has terrible dreams of him running over that Gypsy women except the man who touches Billy is the one who is getting run over. There is two thuds and Billy hears the Gypsy whisper "Thinner." While at Mohonk Heidi sees a weighing machine for a penny and insists Billy get on. Even with a big breakfast in his stomach the machine read 232. That was 14 pounds lost since he got out of court. The machine also had a little fortune that it gave you when you paid and instead of having a big message about his future it just said "Thinner."
