Billy made the appointment and Dr. Houston had found out that Billy had lost 30 pounds in three weeks. Billy knew that Houston was thinking that the odds of him having cancer was good. Billy saw the Gypsies who all traveled together from town to town in caravans. They were having some sort of carnival of their own and were about to get kicked out by Hopley. Nobody really wanted the Gypsies around. Billy watched the nurse draw three ampoules of blood from his arm to run tests on. Billy was informed that everything looked fine even though he was now down to 217. After talking to Houston for a while about other guys that have lost a lot of weight and that it could be just natural weight loss. If he continues to lose weight though Houston says he will have a whole metabolic series run on Billy. Houston believes that his weight loss will taper off. Billy was very excited to tell his wife he was okay and for the first night in a while he slept like a baby.
